The Australian Intervarsity Debating Championship is an annual event which sees approximately 400 university students gather together to win major prizes and recognition in a prestigious tournament.

More commonly referred to as “Easters” as it is held during the Easter break, the event is held in a different city every year, where hosts welcome students to enjoy both their city and their university.

In 2017, the University of Wollongong will be welcoming students to the area for the first time in the tournament’s history, encouraging attendees to see all that the city has to offer!
