Getting to the University of Wollongong.

Wollongong is incredibly lucky in that it has a free bus service which runs on a loop around the city and stops directly outside the Novotel, the university and the Grand Final Venue. We will be allocating bus times for contingents so that everyone can get to the tournament on time.

Additionally, the nature of Wollongong is that you can walk virtually anywhere. The university is a 25-30 minute walk from the Novotel if you get stuck and Wollongong CBD is a pleasant 15 minute walk.

The Campus

The University of Wollongong is arguably the most beautiful university in Australia with tree lined avenues, ponds and streams connecting the entire campus and plenty of very friendly ducks!
For the purpose of Easters we have secured the largest lecture hall on campus, the Hope Theatre in building 40 as well as 50 surrounding classrooms in buildings 19, 24, 20 and 67 to accommodate 100 teams. You can expect to walk for only two minutes between the briefing room and the farthest building.

Expect delicious meals served on one of our many lawns during the day and feel free to explore the campus while searching out coffee or ducks.
